Identity Briefs

In light of today's briefing I have decided to merge together numerous branding / identity briefs in order to form one cohesive and overall more substantial brief; essentially something I looked at last module.

Originally I had handed two of these briefs (Botz Brigade and Epithiny) over to Mitch as they were more suited to who he is as a graphic designer and the kind of work that he is aiming to produce... Botz Brigade being an underground clothing label aim at subcultures in the music industry and Epithiny being an underground DJ who produces techo / electro pieces of music.

However, in addition to live briefs such as Child Reach International and one coming in for Leeds Council I felt I could potentially merge these together given my interests in how design plays a role within branding, and more importantly how people identify who they are through this. What's more I feel that in relation to Botz Brigade and Epithiny I will take a significantly different approach to Mitch and therefore there is no good reason why we can't answer the same two live briefs - or essentially pitch for them.

The brief specifications are as follows.

01. Botz Brigade

Logo and brand identity for an underground clothing label influenced by subcultures within the music industry. Influences include:

The logo needs to be delivered in two parts. One for 'Botz Brigade' and an abbreviated version that simply illustrates 'BB'.

02. Epithiny

Logo and brand identity for an underground British DJ who produces techo/electro/dubstep etc. music.

The above image is essentially an image-based identity that Epithiny uses at present and therefore the logo must incorporate the notion of an eye or feature an eye somewhere within it.

His music can be found at: http://soundcloud.com/epithiny/

03. Asher Coleman Make up Artist

Logo and brand identity for a freelance Make-up Artist based in London whose past clients include ITV. Logo will need to be able to be applied across a broad range of stationery - including a company vehicle and reflect the profession accurately.

04. Child Reach International

info to come.

05. Leeds City Council

info to come.
