On the back of my tutorial with Lorenzo I have found that many things have been clarified and simplified in order to help me progress with the start of the Final Major Project. Some points were positive and some uncovered areas of focus that I need to address. Overall, the advice was as follows:
+ Drop the sustainability aspects from your position statement. Move to a theme.
+ Subsequently revise your position statement and simplify.
+ Consider putting scale and format in as a theme (consider stamp brief).
+ Try to target a range of industry sectors when writing brief content.
+ Start work now, work fast and revisit later.
+ Time manage early as identified from last module evaluation.
+ Develop a credible context/story to apply content your content to when writing briefs.
+ If you are considering studio visits/opinions as case studies for the Design Context publication then make sure you cover areas of focus across all of your proposed chapters, not just one.
