Final outside cover is designed with a view to create a repeat pattern once multiple books are laid out next to each other. Furthermore the design ties into the concept of 'what we cannot say' through interfering with the communication of the phrase, as well as creating ambiguity in relation to whether you holding the front or back cover (you can only tell by looking inside or looking at the spine).
Final Inside:
Final inside cover is designed in order to contrast with the outside and to smooth the transition from a cover that doesn't use a typeface featured within the content.
All reverse out text is also in 8pt as opposed to 7.5pt. This was done in order to ensure the ink didn't bleed out the communication.
