Fine Art Yearbook: Studio Spread Photography

As outlined in our meeting prior to the Easter break (Tues 29th March), these are the supplied images for the argeed 'feature spreads' that will occur between every 5 or 6 students depending on the flow of the publication.

...I'm not exaggerating when I say there are quite a few to choose from:

In addition to the CMYK conversion, I took the role of converting all of the images into greyscale having gone through a thorough selection process with Ed, Vickie and Tim.

This decision was reached as the group and I felt that greyscale would contrast nicely against the colour spreads of the student work and make it crystal clear that these spreads were not part of the graduating showcase... essentially the black and white acted a visual queue for the audience.

Overall, I would suggest that there are probably one or two images that could be swapped out for improved compositions as a final alteration. But for now, these are more than perfect for the job they need to do.

(I'd love to be able to have the 'build and demolish, appear and disappear' image on the cover. If only we weren't under strict instruction to have a text only cover...)
