Fine Art Yearbook: Client Meeting 05

This morning's meeting with the Fine Art Committee went extremely well; the physical and online mock-ups proving particularly useful as expected. Slightly disappointed with some of the changes that we have been requested to make, but such is life in the world of client led design. (I can't really moan, the committee have been excellent in comparison to some).

To clarify in a concise manner, the meeting resolved as follows:

General

01. Need to remove new small image on Jane Kenington's spread, it looked better how it was before (this has been expressed by the student herself).

02. Some of the feature spreads aren't as strong as we would like in terms of the image content. Please can you swap out the pages after Jimmy Cave, Jane Kenington, Isabel Skinner and Bobby West. New images will be supplied to you later on today, and we would also like to use the black and white image from Michael Ormerod's spread on one of the feature spreads.

Generally, I'm not in disagreeance with committee here; although I am marginally annoyed (as mentioned) that we need to interfere with Michael Ormerod's student spread for the sake of a feature spread. In my opinion, a student showcase is far more important... but I guess this gives Michael the opportunity to have more work featured and it does boil back down to this notion of 'what's best for the book/course, not what's best for the student'.

Other than, the team and I shall await new images and introduction/touring info content as repeatedly requested.

Happy days.
